Cooking with Kids at DC VegFest

Nourrie Cuisine was back at the DC VegFest Kids Zone this year presenting the cooking demonstration “Eat Your Veggies: Making Mealtime Healthy AND Fun!”

Kids got to build their own Brown Rice Bowls – choosing from a variety of healthy ingredients like edamame, corn, carrots, pineapple, and peanut sauce.

We also showed parents how to make eating veggies more fun with adorable Baked Potato Faces. These cute bites are made from russet and sweet potato slices, decorated with cashew-cheese sauce and broccoli floret “hair.”
